Tanveer Padder, MD

Tanveer A Padder is a diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Padder has distinguished himself as a very talented and gifted psychiatrist, evidenced by an impressive track record, excellent clinical skills, and superb academic achievements. He has received numerous awards and was included in the 2009 and 2010 directory of America�s Top Psychiatrists by consumer federation of America.

Dr. Padder is currently medical director of two mental health clinics in Maryland and is a consulting psychiatrist at Consulting Psychiatrist Howard County General Hospital, an affiliate of John Hopkins Medicine. He has a very busy practice where he is actively involved with treating complex patient population and teaching.

Tanveer A Padder M.D. is an expert in mood, anxiety, addiction, and psychotic disorders including bipolar, major depression, PTSD, panic attacks, OCD, schizophrenia, opioid dependence, and others.

Dr. Padder graduated MD with honors- Cum Laude and was the best outgoing graduate in medicals school. He is the author of Organized Wisdom Bipolar 101 and 102, a series of the most highly searched and most frequently asked questions about Bipolar disorder. Dr. Padder has received many teaching awards including best resident and chief resident award. He has published extensively in national and international medical and psychiatric journals.

One -Time Consultation

In addition to longitudinal care, Dr. Padder offers one-time consultations to patients referred by their psychiatrists for a second opinion or treatment recommendations; The consultation includes a review of patient records, a comprehensive evaluation, and recommendations.

 

New Patients

Print and complete the new patient registration form and bring it along with you on your first appointment along with any other medical records and list of medications.

If he is not available to talk with you immediately, especially after hours and on weekends, leave a detailed message and call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
